e-Stock
WESCO’s e-Stock is an easy-to-use, web-based inventory management and
procurement system that uses a handheld scanning device and barcode labels.
The e-Stock tool helps our customers ensure that critical inventory items are always
in stock.
Electronic Catalogs (e-Catalogs)
WESCO creates customer specific e-Catalogs that include robust searchable
product data, links to catalog sheets, digital images, and much more. e-Catalogs
are loaded into customer procurement systems or hosted on a third-party
marketsite.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
WESCO’s most common electronic exchange of purchase orders, purchase order
acknowledgements, invoices, and other business documents with both Customers
and Suppliers. WESCO has over 700 customer trading partners transacting via EDI
and processes more than 265,000 EDI documents per month.
Marketsites / Exchanges
WESCO cooperates with customers who choose to integrate their procurement
systems directly with a Marketsite or Exchange (also called a technology hub).
WESCO’s interaction may include Punchout, hosted e-catalogs, electronic
transactions (POs, Invoices, etc.) or any combination based on customers’
requirements. WESCO partners with Ariba, Perfect Commerce, Hubwoo, Enporion,
and Quadrem, just to name a few.
Online Services
WESCO's new web portal now provides customers with access to order status and
history, expediting and tracking reports, invoice information, purchasing activity,
trend analysis, and much more.
